Safety
Some of this needs a person, not a website.
This page is short on purpose. If you recognise yourself on it, stop reading and act on it.
Now
If you are thinking about harming yourself, or feel unable to go on, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
Chest pain, breathing difficulty, collapse or a sudden unexplained physical change: emergency services.
This site does not list telephone numbers, because they differ by country. Your local emergency number works everywhere you are.
If a child may be at risk
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services now.
If you are worried a child is being harmed, or someone has told you about abuse, contact the child protection services where you live. Do not investigate, confront anyone or promise to keep it secret.
If you are afraid you might lose control with a child, step away now and get help from a doctor or a support service today.
If you are under eighteen, talk to an adult you trust, or find a helpline for young people in your country.
A doctor, not a website
Low mood that has gone on for weeks. Not leaving the house, or not seeing anyone. Drinking more than you were, or drinking to get through the day. Sleep that has gone. Get it looked at properly by your own doctor.
